I am an International Kite Flyer from India. I paint my kites and travel with them around the world to fly them during the kite festivals. I do workshops in schools & different festivals. I personally believe that every child must learn to make and fly his own kite, which gives him/her wings to fly in all aspect of life.

Indian art of printing with blocks.
The art of hand block printing is an ancient Indian textile tradition that dates as far back as 2000 BC. Unlike many other dying traditions, this beautiful technique has been preserved over the years. Hand block printing is often seen on textiles and paper to create beautiful designs and patterns. It is very interesting to see how the prints are hand made with small wooden blocks and just by cutting the vegetables into different shapes and printing on paper or fabric. During this workshop you will learn to print your own cloth or paper with the help of wooden blocks. You will learn to make your own blocks with different vegetable cutting technique for printing. You will make a greeting card with your block printing design.
